Victoria’s forest industry thanks Stacey Gardiner who has announced her resignation as General Manager from the Australian Forest Contractors Association’s (AFCA).
“We all sincerely thank Stacey for her efforts leading forest contracting businesses, on the ground in forests, and on the road with haulage. She will no doubt take her work ethic and passion forward to her next role,” Victorian Forest Products Association CEO Deb Kerr said today.
Stacey has been AFCA’s General Manager since 2015. She established AFCA’s first strategic plan, restructured the Association’s administration, and has streamlined service delivery for members.
In her role, Stacey was passionate about improving safety outcomes and creating sustainable business results for AFCA members and forest contracting businesses. She collaborated with a multitude of stakeholders to deliver those projects.
“She has been a committed and tireless advocate for the forest contracting industry, tackling numerous issues for the hardworking businesses which AFCA represents. On behalf of VFPA and our members, we wish Stacey all the best for the future,” Ms Kerr said.
